This gorgeous Tiramisu Frappuccino, the Love-Child of the Rich, Creamy Tiramisu and Icy, Refreshing Frappuccino is one of the best ways to enjoy the last days of Summer! Bonus: it is spiked with Kahlua!
In Denmark right now, weather-wise, we are enjoying that gorgeous time of the year called Sensommer. The last days of Summer, almost melding into Autumn; days of slow living, slow cooking and reminiscing.
The munchkin has started school, which means healthy lunch boxes to pack every morning and keeping track of her after school activities each day. If I thought I was busy before, it’s nothing compared to how I feel now!
Btw, if you want healthy, kid-approved lunch ideas, do follow me on Instagram, where I will be posting the munchkin’s lunch box contents regularly.
All this activity and hustle though doesn’t exactly go with the sensommer frame of mind, the slowing down and taking it easy bit. But this treat definitely helped!
It was a warm weekend and I wasn’t in the mood to bake. It was a day for cold, tall drinks and a day for a bit of decadence before summer was all gone.
Enter this divine Kahlua-spiked Tiramisu Frappuccino! You guys, this drink is amazing! It’s like the much adored love-child of one of my favorite dessert and my favorite iced coffee! I mean, you get Tiramisu and Frappuccino together, magic is bound to happen, right?
Sheer decadence in every sip is what I’m talking about! The subtle hint of Kahlua, the not-so-subtle presence of coffee, the bits of ice, the ice cream, the chocolate syrup, the dusting of cocoa, the crunch of the Savoiardi…that’s amore!
What are you guys doing for end of summer? Or have you transitioned into fall already? I would love to hear from you!
